Social entrepreneur, co-founder of the educational complex "Generation", which includes the private kindergarten "Razumka", the private school "Generation", the center for pre-university training "Maximum" and the family club-cafe "Oblako", President of the Association of Private Education of the Volgograd Region, member Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship "Supports of Russia", member of the presidium of the Volgograd Regional Women's Union.
I come from a family of hereditary teachers, so I have been in the educational field since birth. The idea of creating the “best” school in the region was born in our family when we all worked at the university. We had a clear idea of how we would like to see “our” applicants, and we understood that we should begin developing some competencies back in school. Therefore, twelve years ago, the Generation school was founded in Volgograd. Today our school cooperates with leading universities in the country and is a base school of the Higher School of Economics. We try to start a conversation with the child as early as possible about choosing a profession, about the necessary skills, about what the labor market will look like in ten to fifteen years.
If we talk about personal reasons why I started doing this socially-oriented business, then by creating the Generation school, I was also realizing a dream: to create the best modern school in the region, worthy of our children.
The main difficulty is that private education in Russia has a relatively young history - 25 years, while in other countries it goes back more than 200 years. Therefore, our country has not yet developed mechanisms of support and motivation for development in this industry. Although recently the state has adopted a number of important legislative initiatives that encourage the development of private entrepreneurship in the field of education, which has made our life a little easier.
The modern generation of guys is extremely interesting: creative, free and very fast. It will be interesting to live in a world built by today's schoolchildren.
In addition, the business I am involved in has endless opportunities for development and shows the most rewarding results - success stories of our graduates. I think that the development and popularization of private education in Russia is my mission, and the benefits of this activity will give reason for pride to all subsequent generations of my family.
I love communicating with successful people: from them I am charged with optimism, gain new knowledge, and check the vector of development. I am lucky that my main “inspiration” is my father Mikhail Artemovich Sukiasyan. He is one of the wisest and brightest people on this planet. He is a real "Teacher".
As a member of the Association of Private Educational Organizations, I often visit other schools and kindergartens. I realized that no two schools or kindergartens are alike. These are always unique “states”. I would highlight two patterns that distinguish successful educational projects: selfless love for children and a stable team.
Each of our divisions has its own traditions and talismans. And their number is increasing daily! We live in a magical world of children who know how to dream and believe.
As for the traditions of our team, we try to reach a new peak every year. Therefore, we traditionally participate in all the best educational forums in the country. For example, this year, as a team of “young” teachers, we visited “EdCrunch” - the most modern platform dedicated to education. We also established a new project “Time 2 Teach”, the goal of which is to create a community of young teachers to discuss joint initiatives, improve, and share experiences.
As you can see, we strive to become a full-fledged institution of civil society, where universities, business representatives, public organizations, charitable initiatives, etc. intersect and effectively interact. After all, all parties are interested in the ultimate goal - to make the school a territory of success!
If we talk about “special character qualities,” then I would note a certain special view: while working at school, I began to look at all life situations through the special prism of the child’s interests. Also, when communicating with a teenager, I find myself taking my words, actions, and decisions very seriously. After all, it’s not a cautious word that can change the decision and fate of a young interlocutor! Of course, you also need to be aware of current trends and trends, otherwise effective dialogue will not work!
Success awaits only in the business that you REALLY love!
