EMPOWER INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE (G20)

Creation:
The alliance was created in 2019, within the framework of the G20 summit in Japan (Osaka)

Target:
To create and support in each G20 member state a platform for interaction on private sector issues, identifying problems, sharing practical experience and increasing the level of attraction and advancement of women as business leaders

Nadiya Cherkasova - Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of Otkritie Bank, Vice President, Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship "OPORA RUSSIA"

Gulnaz Kadyrova – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (MINPROMTORG)

Role of representatives:

• Exchange of best practices and information related to women's leadership in the private sector in G20 member countries
• Maintaining contact with relevant national and international networks and organizations, including G20 working and official groups (W20 and B20)
• Annual participation in face-to-face meetings of Alliance representatives. Online interaction is carried out on an ongoing basis. The organizer of the face-to-face meeting is the Presidium.
